We are builders and
finishers of high quality motor boats typically of Downeast Maine design.
These boats are characterized by their traditional styling, sea keeping
abilities and relatively low power needed to drive them at comfortable
speeds.
We generally receive a hull, deck unit and other model parts from a builder and assemble them according to a plan drawn up by the owner of the boat and a naval architect. With the exception of the larger parts, we build everything in our shop. All of the parts and materials we use are of the highest quality available for the project. We have recently installed an in-house design station and have an architect on staff to help us facilitate the construction of our boats.

We have recently ordered a 2D CAD/CAM numerically controlled router table. This new technology will allow us to cut panels and bulkheads with computer precision from our blueprints. We will be integrating this machine into our daily construction practices with our projects to benefit.
